This listing is for a GORGEOUS antique English Sterling Silver tall wine claret jug, c. 1876.

his beautiful claret features an elaborate design with chased grape clusters and foliage in high relief. Beaded trim around upper edge and around the base.
The piece is in very nice Estate condition and the silver has beautiful patina. No dents, dings or noted flaws.
Measures 12" high, 5 1/2" wide (at handle) and the base is 3 3/4" in diameter. Weighs 650 grams.
Hallmarked for "London, Sterling", date letter for 1876 with illegible maker's stamp.
This wine claret is exceptional and you will absolutely love it!
