    Description

    This is a Japanese lacquer covered apple box from the 1920s. It is adorned with orange, red, and green colors and has a very graphic and almost Art Deco quality. It is an antique original, the quality suggests excellent craftsmanship. It does has condition issues such as the wear on the top of the cover and a small rough area on the bottom of the rich red lacquer interior. There are some minor small chips on the exterior and the foot shows that it was moved back and forth in it’s lifetime.
