Absolutely stunning Victorian Wine Ewer Claret Circa 1850-1875. Condition is used, but in Excellent condition for age and use. This piece has a monogram in the center of "CMS." It is believed to have been made by the silversmith

. Similar pieces marked Tiffany share the fine detail and patterns found on this piece. Moore and Son were both commissioned silversmiths for Tiffany & Co. during this time for pieces of this quality and stature. Some Tiffany pieces were unmarked before 1900.
It is believed that Mr. Moore produced this piece as a sample for the company, accounting for it being unmarked as Tiffany.
