    This listing is for a STUNNING mid-19th Century English Sterling Silver Repousse decorated Teapot by silversmith John Walton.
    The teapot features a beautiful heavily chased Repousse design in high relief with stylized leaves and flowers flowing down around the upper edge. The pitcher has a wide lobed paneled body embellished with elaborate chased and engraved floral decoration.  Ornate handle and beautifully decorated lid with finial top. Fancy engraved monogram "HS" on front.
    Measures 11" high, 10" wide and 6 1/2" deep.
    Teapot weighs an incredible 2.2 pounds or 34 ounces of Sterling Silver.
    This wonderful pitcher has English hallmarks "J W" for maker John Walton, Newcastle, date letter for 1842 and stamped Sterling.
    This GORGEOUS pitcher has been lovingly cared for and is in excellent condition. There is one small faint dent just below the monogram - no other noted dents, dings or scratches on the body.   This silver pitcher is absolutely CHOICE and will be among the highlights of any 19th Century silver collection!
