Japanese Wooden Haribako Sewing Chest
This is a Japanese sewing box, also called
haribako
. Rustic with a textured, natural wood grain finish with simple metal hardware and accents, this large tansu chest has seven drawers. None of the drawers sit on any track and as such, can be rearranged in any order. Each drawer is lined with red velvet-like fabric. This beautiful tansu chest can be used for storing sewing supplies, jewelry, or other trinkets.
