    Description

    Antique Hand-Painted Meiji Trinket Box with Lid 4"x3" EUC (JLP)
    Japanese Meiji period hand-painted porcelain trinket box with gold legs and figures painted on the outside and inside. The ivory background is painted in gold with an ornate design all around and solid gold painted legs. The top, sides, inside of lid and box all have Geishas depicted. The top has a mountain and lake landscape in the background. Highly detailed. There are minor chips on the edge of the piece and slight loss of paint on some areas. Very minor as well. There is Japanese lettering on the bottom. Measures approximately 4 1/2" wide by 3" tall. Please see the photos for more details and the actual condition.
