Description

APPLICATION -- Suitable for Silverado and Sierra 1500 2500 2WD 4WD from 1999 to 2014. Suitable for Silverado / Sierra 1500 cab standard 2 / 4WD with oval upper mount.
FUNCTION -- Replace the worn rubber bushings to maintain a permanent connection between the fuselage and the frame and keep the cab aligned with the bed.

Installation Tips
Step1
Remove the old body mounts.
Step2
Jake the car and install new 7-141 polyurethane body mounts.
Step3
Torque the bolt and nuts.
Step4
Low down the car.
NOTE
.SPRAY liberally all mounting bolts and nuts to be removed with penetrating oil (ie. WD-40).
Vehicle body properly before removing mounts. SUPPORT ( : Use a 2”x4” piece of wood 24” long or any other suitable RECOMMENDED size between the jack and body panels to spread the load out so as not to damage body panels). If necessary, support the body in several areas.
All nuts and bolts but DO NOT REMOVE. Working from one side of the vehicle at a time the nut and bolt from ONE LOOSEN REMOVE mount location and raise body enough to replace mount, NEVER HIGHER. Check other areas of the body for interference problems when raising the body.
One mount at a time with similar size urethane mounts. If washers/sleeves have been provided, use in combination of original.
After all mounts have been replaced, TORQUE ALL NUTS AND BOLTS TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS. NOTE: RE-TORQUE all nuts and bolts after initial settling of mounts (approximately 1000 miles of driving).
